Hello! My Name is Niyah Lighty. I am an alumnus of Old Dominion University and studied Communication Studies with a concentration on Relating Across the Lifespan.

Professional Life
After completing my degree, I secured an intern position in Marketing and Communications at ChildFund International, which later turned into a Digital Content Assistant role that I am currently working in. In this role, I create various digital assets for social media, engage with the community in comments and direct messages, monitor current and changing trends, and brainstorm monthly content. Additionally, I collaborate with various companies to showcase their products, including Topicals, 54 Thrones, Naturium, Steve Madden, CVS, and others. Looking ahead, I aim to advance to a higher-level position in Marketing and Communications, with a strong interest in Social Media Management.
Personal Life
​When I'm not busy with work or school, I love to engage in a variety of activities. Creating content, whether for brands or as a personal project, is something I deeply enjoy. Photography is one of my main interests, particularly capturing the beauty of nature and architecture. I also love experimenting with new recipes and spending time with my dog at home. Living in Virginia Beach, I’m always exploring new spots around the area, whether it’s a unique café or a scenic viewpoint.
